Board of Directors
The current Board of Directors is comprised of nine members with
alternating two-year terms. The current members of the IIBA Board
of Directors are:
Glenn Brule resigned from the Board of Directors in October 2009.
David Bieg resigned from the Board of Directors in January 2010.

Biographies of the 2008-2009 Board of Directors
Alain Arseneault
Alain Arseneault is a member of the IIBA Senior
Leadership Team in the role of VP Marketing and Communication. He leads
a team of dedicated resources responsible for all communications and
marketing activities for the organization.
He also serves on the Board of Directors, providing the organization
with both business and strategic insight and act as Chair of the
Nomination Committee. For over three years, Alain has been a dedicated
volunteer for the organization. He previously held the position of Chief
Strategist for two years.
Alain has been working at the Bank of Montreal for 14 years in
various positions including Project Manager and Senior Manager PMO. In
his current role, Alain leads the 4 key I.T. Specialists Centre of
Competencies including Business Analysis, Project Management, and
Quality Assurance and System Development providing governance and
support to the entire organization. He is also a member of the Canadian
Financial Institutes Requirements Council.

Michael Augello
Michael is a highly experienced consultant with well-defined skills in
both business management and technology-based projects. He has performed
successfully in a range of roles including architecture, enterprise
analysis, business process analysis, data analysis and requirement
definition in numerous government and private corporation engagements.
In a career spanning 28 years, Michael has held significant roles in
startup consulting organisations including CPT Consulting where he was
Director leading to CPT Global’s successful public listing on the
Australian Stock Exchange.
In 2004 Director, Michael co-founded a highly successful specialist IT
consulting firm, OptimiseIT, before a merger with Ingena Group Limited
(IGL) and subsequent listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2007.
Part of IGL’s Executive Management team, Michael contributes to the
strategic direction of the company and has been responsible for regional
expansion.
Michael has strong interpersonal skills with an ability to
communicate
to senior business and IT managers whilst also demonstrating capability
to lead and motivate teams to maximize performance and achieve
success.
Over the past 3 years Michael has combined his skills, experiences
and
passion for the BA profession to devote significant time to the
IIBA®
Australia Chapter. In July 2008 he joined the IIBA®
Australia Chapter
Board as a Director where he has focused on the Events and Marketing
domains. A highlight has been his ability to engage and unite the BA
Community in Australia at all levels from junior BA through to senior BA
Manager to raise awareness of theBA profession’s role in driving
successful project outcomes.

Arie Benaich
Arie Benaich is an experienced Human Resources Professional with a
comprehensive and strategic understanding of Human Resources Management
including organizational change. Arie has had significant experience
devising and implementing coherent HR strategies while improving
internal processes and procedures within demanding environments, project
deadlines and budgets. He has been on the Board of Directors with the
IIBA since September 2009 and is presently on the HR and Compensation
committee. Arie is also Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.
Professionally, Arie is a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner with BMO
Financial group in their Technology and Operations division. He has
been with BMO since 2004 developing and executing HR strategies for his
technology clients. Arie’s performance contribution has been recognized
by the enterprise by being nominated for the CEO recognition of Top
Performers at Business Plan Rollout and also received an Award of
Excellence.
Prior to BMO, Arie worked for Ericsson Inc. and Siemens Inc. performing
HR generalist, specialist and consulting roles. Arie also briefly
practiced law.
Arie is Bilingual (English and French) and is born in Montreal. He
received a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University (1986),
where he graduated with honours and received the Faculty Scholar
designation. Thereafter, Arie earned his Law Degree from the University
of Windsor (1991) and subsequently completed the Advanced Program in
Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto- Rotman School
of Management (2002). Arie also holds his CHRP designation.
Arie speaks publicly at conferences on the role of Human Resources in
Organizations. His recent speaking engagements include: Federated Press,
Human Capital Measurement Conference, "Core performers" November 2007.

Teresa Cheung
Teresa was legal counsel to
IIBA since its incorporation in 2006 to October, 2009 during which time
she advised management and the board of directors on corporate
governance, intellectual property, employment law and dispute
resolution. She was also an experienced civil and commercial litigator.
In November, 2009, Teresa was appointed federal adjudicator at the
Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board, the largest administrative
tribunal in Canada.
Teresa has industry experience in software development and
information technology having spent the early part of her career as an
information developer at IBM, Nortel and Delrina, and a chartered
bank.
Teresa contributes to her profession as an author of papers and book
chapters on intellectual property law. She has presented to professional
and trade associations on litigation and intellectual property law.
In her spare time, Teresa has traveled widely to Australia, Europe,
Africa and Asia. She also enjoys cycling and cross-country skiing.

Ingrid Colquitt
For the past twelve years,
I've obtained experience through multiple roles of Project Management
and Business Analysis ranging from very high-level business case
development and high level design to detailed analysis of platform,
business process mapping and interface change requirements where
detailed delivery planning, scheduling and accurate costs are defined,
implemented and tracked.
I am a specialist in Government to Business Service Delivery and have
applied knowledge in:
• Government priorities of Electronic Service Delivery (ESD)-
Whole of Government
• Developments of high change, risk and visibility Tax
Reform, and the ABN GST Online transaction
• PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and ATO (ABN DSC)
certificates to the Australian Business community

I am passionate about business excellence and process improvement and
the delivery of practical, highly useable web interfaces and application
flows, with sensitivity and awareness of privacy and data security in
sensitive Government project environments.
In 2008 I obtained the International Institute of Business Analysis
CBAP® designation. I am currently a serving member of IIBA Role
Delineation Committee and attended Item Writing Week, 2009.
I appreciate the opportunity of extending my advocacy for IIBA as an
International Board representative based in Asia Pacific, protecting and
promoting the Business Analyst capability and credentials.

Kathleen B. (Kitty) Hass
Kathleen Hass is the president of KHass and Associates, Inc., a
consulting practice specializing in strategic business practices,
including business analysis, project management, and strategy execution
through portfolio management. Ms. Hass is a prominent presenter at
industry conferences, author and lecturer. Her expertise includes IT
strategic planning, implementing and managing PMOs and BACOEs,
facilitating portfolio management, leading technology and
software-intensive projects, executive and program team coaching,
building and leading strategic project teams, and managing large complex
programs.
Ms. Hass has over 25 years experience providing professional services
to Federal agencies, the intelligence community, and various Fortune 500
companies. Certification include: SEI CMMI appraiser, Baldrige National
Quality Program examiner, Zenger-Miller facilitator, and Project
Management Institute Project Management Professional. Ms. Hass serves
as Director at Large International Institute of Business Analysis.
Kitty serves on the IIBA Board of Directors and the IIBA Leadership
Team as Head of Chapter Governance. Kitty has authored numerous white
papers and articles on leading edge PM/BA practices, the renowned series
entitled, Business Analysis Essential Library, a
compilation of six titles on critical BA practices, the PMI 2009 Book of
the Year, Managing Project Complexity - A New Model. She
served as lead author for the Enterprise Analysis Chapter of the
BABOK®.

Michael Hugos
Michael Hugos, principal at Center for Systems Innovation [c4si],
mentors teams of business and technical people in practices of business
agility and agile systems development. He also delivers seminars and
management briefings. He previously spent six years as chief information
officer (CIO) of an $8 billion distribution co-operative where he
developed the suite of supply chain and e-business systems that
transformed the company's operations and revenue model. Prior to that,
he was a practice director for a global IT services and consulting firm.
He is a recognized expert in business and IT agility and supply chain
management. He won the CIO 100 Award in 2003 and 2005, the
InformationWeek 500 Award in 2005, and in 2006 he was selected for the
Computerworld Premier 100 Award for career achievement.
Michael earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School
of Management and holds an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning and
Design from University of Cincinnati. He writes a blog for CIO Magazine
titled "Doing Business in Real Time" and he has authored seven books
including his newest book Business in the Cloud: What Every Business
Needs to Know about Cloud Computing, and the popular Essentials of
Supply Chain Management.

Brenda Kerton
Brenda Kerton is a former IT practitioner, business analyst leader,
project manager and company director, and currently the owner and
principal consultant of Capability Insights Consulting. She is a
founding member of IIBA and as Chair of the Body of Knowledge Committee
led the group to the first version of the Business Analysis Body of
Knowledge® (BABOK®). She is the author of
several articles on business analysis, management of change and
leadership. She acts as guide, coach and consultant to organizations
that are striving to improve their people, process and leadership
capabilities.

Chuck Millhollan
Chuck Millhollan is the Director of Program Management for Churchill
Downs Incorporated and has over 25 years experience in formal business
analysis, project and portfolio management. Recent initiatives include -
Successfully implemented a new ticketing system using a documented
approach for requirements elicitation, prioritization, and management
from RFP through implementation.
Chuck earned his Bachelor of Science in Management in 1993 through
Southern Illinois University, his Master of Business Administration from
the University of Florida in 2000 and a Master of Science in Project
Management from the University of Wisconsin in 2003. Chuck’s
certifications include: PMP, PgMP, CBAP, Six Sigma Black Belt, CMQ/OE,
CSQE, and MHP.
In addition to his work as a business analysis and portfolio
management practitioner, Chuck has developed curriculum and taught for
several accredited universities. Additionally, Chuck is the Vice
President of Education for the Kentuckiana chapter of the Project
Management Institute, a senior member of the American Society for
Quality Louisville section, and on the Board of Directors for the
Northeast YMCA in Louisville, Kentucky.

Indy Mitra
Indy Mitra is a Senior Business Consultant with Bank of Montreal
(BMO) in Toronto, Canada. She currently provides technology consulting
support to the bank’s personal and commercial banking business in the
area of payments products (credit & debit card processing) for retail
customers of the bank. She is also assisting BMO’s IT Strategy team to
develop standards for content management and business process management
solutions for the enterprise.
Indy has worked in business analysis roles since graduating from the
University of Waterloo in 1981. She has extensive experience working
for consulting and financial companies, and has been with BMO since
1997.
A founding member of IIBA, Indy has held leadership roles since the
organization’s inception in October 2003 and has been a member of the
Board since the first AGM in March 2004. She currently acts as the
Chairman of the Board. Since 2004, Indy has held a position on the IIBA
Senior Leadership Team, heading up the Operational Compliance area for
IIBA.
During her tenure, Indy took on major roles such as facilitating the
formation of IIBA as a not-for-profit corporation, representing members
on the Board of Directors, and protecting the intellectual property of
IIBA through registration of trade-marks and process development.
Indy is a passionate advocate for the business analyst role and is
thrilled to be actively involved in making a difference for the
profession. Her vision is to build a strong governance board that
represents and protects the interests of the members of IIBA.

Winston Young
Winston Young is a chartered
accountant with more than a decade of real estate and development
experience. He was recently appointed Senior Vice-President and Chief
Financial Officer of Build Toronto Inc.
Mr. Young has held various senior finance positions including Chief
Financial Officer roles at the City of Toronto Economic Development
Corporation and Invest Toronto Inc., Vice-President, Finance and
Controller at Famous Players Inc., a division of Viacom Inc., as well as
Vice-President, Business Planning also at Famous Players Inc. (during
its megaplex theatre expansion phase), and Director of Planning at
Markborough Properties Inc.
Mr. Young also holds an MBA and previously worked with the firms
Ernst & Young and Richter & Partners Inc. in auditing and
financial consulting. He has served as a mentor in the mentorship
programme at both the University of Toronto and the Schulich School of
Business.
