IIBA Membership Fee

The regular rate for a one year membership with IIBA® is $95 U.S.* per individual.

IIBA has introduced a Global Membership Program . This means that members in countries with lower Purchasing Power Parity as defined by the World Bank are eligible for a reduced membership rate. To determine your membership rate based on your billing country,  click here. Note: All rates are in US dollars.

Your membership is active upon receipt of payment and valid for one year from the last day of the month closest to your payment date.

All IIBA Memberships are for the specific and sole use of the registered individual for whom payment is made and are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Please remember that IIBA is a non-profit professional association. Your membership fees enable us to cover our costs and provide benefits to our members.

Payment Options: International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is a Canadian Corporation. IIBA will only charge the application fee in USD (plus GST/HST if you are a Canadian resident or a GST/HST registrant) to your credit card. Please note that IIBA does not levy any additional service charges or fees. However, additional fees may be applied to this purchase if you reside outside of Canada. These fees are initiated, collected and kept by your credit card provider and are not refundable by IIBA. Fees are charged in United States currency (USD) and your credit card provider will convert your purchase to your home currency on your credit card statement.

Effective Immediately: Individuals or organizations located in Canada purchasing IIBA® services, including but not limited to fees regarding membership, Endorsed Education Provider (EEPTM), Sponsorships, job postings and Certified Business Analysis ProfessionalTM (CBAP®) applications, will be charged the Goods and Services Tax (GST) / Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) based on Canadian laws. Any individual and/or organization resident in Canada (i.e. with a mailing address in Canada) or who is a GST/HST registrant will be subject to this charge as of July 1, 2010.

Please note: On July 1, 2010, the Canadian Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) takes effect for Ontario and British Columbia. As of this date, payments for any IIBA products and services that are subject to the Goods and Services Tax (GST) or HST will be charged based on the new GST/HST rates and regulations.


Membership Discounts

Membership discounts are available if your organization is a sponsor of IIBA, but can only be applied to the regular membership rate of $95 U.S. The sponsor discount cannot be combined with any other discounts or offers including reduced membership rates through the Global Membership Program.

To take advantage of this discount, you must be paying the regular membership rate based on your billing country, and you will need your organization's sponsorship code at the time of payment. You can reference our Sponsorship Listing to determine if your organization is an IIBA® Sponsor. Please contact your company's internal sponsorship administrator to obtain your sponsorship code before proceeding to pay for your IIBA membership. You can also reference the Sponsorship Program page for additional details about this program.


IIBA Chapter Membership

IIBA has many chapters across North America and around the world in many major cities. As an IIBA member, you can join a local IIBA Chapter. For more information about IIBA Chapter locations and the benefits of joining a chapter, please visit our Chapters page. Annual fees, payment options, refund and discount policies are determined by the local chapter. Currently, chapter fees cannot be paid through the IIBA website.


Membership Renewal Date

Your annual renewal date will be the last day of the month closest to the date on which you enrolled. For example, if you join on April 4, your renewal date will be on March 31 of the following year, and if you join on April 26 your renewal date will be on April 30 of the following year.


Registration and Payment Options

Option 1 – Pay now via Credit Card

1. Complete the online registration form.

2. Click the “Add to Basket” button. You have the option to pay by MasterCard or Visa. Please note that your credit card information is not retained by IIBA.

3. You will automatically receive an email acknowledging receipt of your payment, and advising you of your membership ID number and your annual renewal date.

4. If you need an invoice to submit to your company to expense your membership fee, please click on the print button for a printable version of the screen.

Currently, IIBA only accepts credit card payments through this website.

Option 2 – Pay later via credit card OR via mail by check or international money order

(a) Pay later by credit card:

1. Complete the online registration form.

2. If you require an invoice from IIBA for payment approval from your company, please click the print button for a printable version of this screen.

3. Once approved, please return to the IIBA website to complete the payment process:

(a) Login to the website using the username and password you created when you registered.
(b) If you are not on the member profile page, go to it by selecting Manage Account.
(c) Select the “Billing” option for a summary of your outstanding payment.
(d) Select “Add to Basket” and follow the instructions on screen to complete the payment process.

(b) Pay later via mail by check or money order:

1. Complete the online registration form.

2. Select the “pay later” by credit card or via mail by check or money order option.

3. Please click the print button for a printable version of this screen. This can be used as an invoice to submit to your company for approval prior to sending in your payment. Include a copy of this page with your check or international money order and mail to:

Please note: It can take up to 30 days to complete the registration process when mailing in a check or money order. Once your payment is received, you will receive an email from IIBA advising you of your Membership ID number and annual renewal date.

Processing Your Application

Once your application has been submitted and payment processed, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your payment, and advising you of your membership ID and your annual membership renewal date. Please note that once your payment has been processed it can take two to three business days for your access to the member-only sections of the website to be activated.

To access the member-only sections of the website, you will need to use the login and password you created when you registered, so be sure to write these down and keep them in a safe place. Forgot your login or password? Visit the "Login/Logout" page on the IIBA website and click on "Reset my password".
